Brett,

I base my comments solely on my on experience. I see fakes all over
Trocdero and report many and get no reply. There is a "Georgian
candlestick" on there for a while. It is Chinese, c. 1925 and worth
about $20. I have reported it and will wait for a response.

The second time I had a store on Trocadero, I decided to test their
resolve. I posted some bad fakes of WW2 insignia and had a friend
report them as fakes. I composed an email that cited many references
about the $2,000 fakes and showed illustrations of the fakes for
proof. The complaint never received a response and Troc never
contacted me for a reply.
I have no problem getting a response from ebay sellers. I guess it
depends on the manner they are approached.

I still adise anyone to know what they are doing before they buy from
any site.
