[Ancientartifacts] Cultural heritage. Peru

Dedicated to Perularedo
LEY N° 28296 - General Law for cultural heritage ( patrimony)
Best possible translation.
Title III. Chapter II
Article 33.The export of all movable goods forming part of the
Nation's Cultural heritage is forbidden, with the exceptions established
in this Law.
Article 34.(Refers to exceptions.)
34.1.Exceptionally the permit can be given ( by Supreme Resolution)
a)For exhibition with cultural, scientific or artistic ends.
b)Specialised studies that can not be made in Peru.
c)Restorations that can not be made in Peru.
d) Refers to diplomats and Consuls.
34.2. The term of the export will not be longer than a year.
Exceptionally another year.

BTW and besides the Law.. The National Institute for Culture of
Peru, recommends, that if you intend to leave Peru with copies or replicas
you should have with you the necessary documents( Some tricksters
have tried to pass originals as replicas before customs)indicating its
authentic nature.

Buyers beware of documents. Also its easier to fake a document
than an artifact.Buy from honest dealers.

And finally, perularedo, now selling mainly Mexican modern pots,
has sold fakes.
