Hello,

I'm just being introduced to antique collecting, and I've two pieces
that were found on eBay which I would like to have validated as
originals.

The first is a Stela from Ancient Egyptian time period. There is very
little information given by the seller and he/she has yet to respond
to my inquiries. I am hesitant to accept its legitamacy because it
seems far too undersized (measuring at 10x7x1 cms) to act as a Stela
(tomb/boundary marker or votive statue) and is lacking any inscribed
writing which may describe for what or whom the piece was created.
The eBay site is here:

Secondly, I found a limestone statue of Horus the falcon, purportedly
from Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom. It is in seemingly perfect
condition, including full paint, and a perfectly sharp beak.

If anyone could help me out with these two items, I would be quite
grateful. Thank you.
