Re: [Ancientartifacts] Egyptian Stone Mummified God Horus Ushabti

Sorry, definitely not ancient.  Hard to say "why", in the same way it is hard to say why a bicycle is not a fish...

Subject: [Ancientartifacts] Egyptian Stone Mummified God Horus Ushabti

Hello everybody!

First, say hello to all of you; after, ask for help:

I bought this object from eisa gallery:

http://www.auctiva.com/hostedimages/showimage.aspx?
gid=733855&ppid=1122&image=115728523&images=115728509,115728517,11572
8523,115728534,115728542,115728547&formats=0,0,0,0,0,0&format=0

The seller gave the following description:
"This is a "Mummified Stone Horus" from the Egyptian New Kingdom Era
(1550-1070 B.C.). This mummified statue was stone cast." He sent me
a COA.

It was too cheap to be good, but I really apreciate if anyone could
confirm me if it is a fake or not.

Thanks for your help

Cristina
