OK Bron, I'll try to describe what is actually more of a feeling. I checked the core of every broken shabti in my collection and none have a glaze layer that looks like the one in the picture, also all of the cores are more uniform in composition. I don't know much about the iconography of "concubines" but I've never seen hair or a wig with a part in the middle, it looks like a modern hairdo. The face is ugly and doesn't reflect much respect for the female. The glaze just appears unusual and the discoloration not natural, but that could be the picture. Are you now going to tell me it is authentic? Ha! Ha!
