What I think would be productive to discuss here under the topic heading "De
Montabello replies" is what De Montabello actually "replied" in the context
of the actual contents of the text he "replied" to. To ignore that to head
off chasing speculative side issues intended merely to make a mockery of the
original points raised is just a waste of everybody's time and patience and
certainly has nothing to do with "real and operative issues" or productive
discussion (as Tom Flynn noted).

I'd be perfectly willing to discuss the point you made about Italian
cultural property law and its relationship to the Holy See and the Roman
Empire if they had any sense, or relationship to what Opoku was actually
saying. You have not shown they have either, so it seems that the points you
raised merely act as a fogscreen deflecting the discussion from the topic
(which you may perhaps regard as "productive", but I do not).

Well, that is what we are both working for isn't it.

Well, as I keep pointing out, and you keep ignoring, Opoku was proposing
precisely that.

I sincerely hope that most members of the public do not regard moral and
ethical arguments (in anything) as utterly devoid of meaning.
