[Ancientartifacts] SHIPPING ARTIFACTS FROM ENGLAND

hello,

I have heard back from an Eglish export licensing officer concerning
the export of antiquities from England.

The responsibility for obtaining an export license is 100% the
responsibility of the seller. the buyer has no responsibility for
getting a license or any paperwork.

I am doing nothing illegal by buying antiquities from England without
paperwork from the seller.

That does not make it correct from the point of view of protecting
sites but no American buying antiquities from English dealers should
feel like a criminal or smuggler if your English seller fails to do
English paperwork.

Steve
