Regardless of what some individuals here tell you, ebay and trocadero
are NOT the same. Try calling and talking with most of the people
selling on ebay, like the ones claiming to be selling Pre Columbian
artifacts straight out of South America. They change user ID about
once a month. Most, and I say Most, not all trocadero dealers have a
way to contact them and at least speak with them and get an idea how
you feel about them. Go ahead- try that on ebay. As with anything,
there are always exceptions, but I guarantee you, the chances of
getting burnt on ebay are WAY WAY WAY higher. I sell on both, and I
know and deal with quite a few trocadro dealers, and I will tell you,
I know where I would rather put my trust. ANYBODY that tells you ebay
and trocadero are the same has an agenda of their own. Just try your
own little experiment, try contacting some ebay sellers, and then try
contacting some trocadero dealers, and see how far you get with the
former. There is a reason that the blacklist here contains so many
ebay sellers. Where there is smoke, there is fire - So don't get
burnt.
