Hi Bret,
I am an Anasazi lover, unfortunately the topic has not come up very often in group discussions since I have been a member. A couple of eBay dealers (breyerfire, brierbare) have been selling similar Anasazi items for quite some time, reportedly found near Showlow, Arizona. There is so much of it there, though, it makes one wonder if all of it was really made pre-1600AD as claimed. Can you, or anyone else in the group, comment on the authenticity of this material on eBay? Some examples that sold recently are Item #1402132302270 and #140206681088. Sorry, I don't yet know how to do links. Doesn't U.S. law require proof that these artifacts were legally collected?
Thanks,
Jack Olivier
