Harlan Berk, Ltd on Clark St in Chicago has great (but pricey) ancient coins and a fair amount of fine antiquities--Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Some Asian and pre-Columbian.  They could possibly authenticate items, or refer you to someone who is good. See website.

I am newer to collecting, but a few years ago I purchased a few items
on Ebay. I highly suspect the items not be authentic, but was
wondering if anyone knew of any authentication services for Egyptian
antiquities in the Chicago area (and pricing for the service). I also

Chicago area.
