Re: [Ancientartifacts] How was the BAAF

Hello Eric,
The BAAF was great as always, the weather was not unfortunately,a lovely sunny Sunday made everything OK.I went on Friday and Sunday,Friday was pretty bussy,Sunday rather calm.I spoke to a few dealers, they where very happy with the sale figures, lots of red dots in their catalogs despite the high prices. There was a lovely bronze kouros at Rhea gallery (POR).A fine bronze harpocrates with inlaid eyes at Drees Archeo(this was about 5000€) and I saw great shabtis at Cybele and Bigler.Fine greek vases at Puhze and Ede.I myself bought a rare large Canossan male dancer in terracotta with much of the original polychromy preserved so my BAAF this year was great, can't wait till the next edition.

Subject: [Ancientartifacts] How was the BAAF

Hello,

For all the people that were lucky enough to make it to the BAAF this
year. How was it? Were the prices strong? Anyone want to show off what
they picked up there?

Eric
